dichromatic color filters

The dichromatic color filters are not made of colored glass, but are metallised glass panes.
The metallising forms a physical grid, which lets through only waves of certain wavelengths, hence only certain colors.
The wavelengths of the other colors are reflected backwards by the color filter.
